It doesn't make me look younger, but it helps to even my skin tone and gives me fresh and brightener complexion. I don't have any problems with pores, so I cannot say much in this subject. If your skin looks dull, which happens often especially in Autumn and you would like your complexion to look fresher and rested go ahead and try this product. 
That's what Vichy promises. But does it really?


My skin is very sensitive and problematic, so I am really very careful using new products. But I have to say that this is a good product, it leaves my skin beautiful and soft. It sinks into the skin very quickly which helps by applying a moisturizer on the top. Its texture is light and non sticky. 
Too early to tell if it is making a significant difference to my skin but the fact that it leaves it so soft makes me feel good. It works with my very sensitive skin. It's hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and paraben-free, with soothing and fortifying Vichy Thermal Spa Water. 
The instructions recommend to "Apply every morning and/or evening underneath your usual moisturiser or on its own, avoiding the eye area. Helps transform the appearance of skin quality." I've been using it for about 4 weeks now. I apply it only evenings (no moisturizer).
I recommend this product, but don't expect any spectacular transformation.

Mira-culous coats

Coats are amazing. I don't really know if it's the cut, function or fabrics but they always create an amazing look. It doesn't matter if it's a sophisticated French classic or a rebellious, punk-rock leather look it's always a statement. And definitely in the wardrobe of Mira Duma we could find many of those very intriguing and brave statements...
It's amazing how this little woman can pull off the look in a coat.

Which one is you favourite look/coat?

Autumn wardrobe part IV

Today is the first day this Autumn I wore one of my coats. I mean my winter coat. The weather is nice today, but it's also pretty chilly. I love coats for few reasons: They're very classy. They easily make an outfit. They make me warm!!!
This season overcoats are the leading trend but I prefer coatigans (btw what a name...) because they don't make our shoulders look like robocop is back.
The colours? Black of course but not only, off white, beige and camel look always great. I also like strong colours like red or pink. This season my favourite is grey.

my short culinary arts career

They say the way to man's heart is through his stomach.

I remember my first meal prepared for my husband. I made pasta with sweet & sour sauce and Polish sausage. He didn't like it... 

He was polite and tried to empty the plate but it wasn't to his liking... ;) Well I was a student then, thinking about my study, friends and wine more than mastering my cooking skills.

After few years I got a little bit better and I have to say he likes my culinary experiments more and more which encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. 

Phil is a great cook. From everywhere we go he brings some nice products home and he finds easily new culinary inspiration. It's great when we can transfer some holidays flavors into our kitchen.

I don't count calories or say no to a desert-ever! and when I see this little box full of amazing Polish chocolates with light like a cloud vanilla souffle inside I am in heaven. If you ever find it on the store shelf don't think twice just grab it to your basket and indulge yourself with it.

a place just for me

Every little girl's dream about her very own lovely, polished space, where she can put all her toys. With a big mirror, some perfumes and lipsticks ("borrowed" from her mum)...

Well it wasn't my dream as a little girl, but even for me this moment arrived. This weekend I will be very busy putting together my new dressing table and arranging all beautyful things in my vanity space. 

The choice of dressing tables nowadays is amazingly big. You can have glossy, modern, simple dressing tables or shabby and rich french ones. The choice is yours!

The only difference between this space and the rest of your house is that this is just YOUR space, and everything depends just on you. 

I shouldn't waste my time any longer and start my design. yay
