not very well at all ...

It's the second day of me being sick and staying in bed. Not the best time of my life, but I'll try to catch up with some gossip, contact my friends, and actually not rushing while typing emails...
Let's start my slow day in bed. no schedule, but the are some must-do points:
watch Girls- 3rd episode
read Vogue- I was waiting for a postman with the Feb issue and this morning I discovered it under a pile of documents, I should really tidy up... :)
paint something new
change my play list
get rid of some clothes
cook something nice for Phillip
and watch Bob's Burgers
if you are also in bed and not feeling very well, watch Bob's Burgers, it will make you laugh. And if you like it you also will like Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist, not bad either.

show your back

My sis is getting married, which means I have a perfect occasion to wear some gorgeous pieces :)
I always loved open back dresses, but it's very easy to go a step too far and from fantastic classy look make a vulgar and trashy one.
That's why if we show our back, which is very intimate for me for some reason, maybe it's better to resign from our decollete or mini length.

cannot wait to to wear my dark green gown!

Reading is sexy

Although we live in i-world, I still love the smell of an old, well read book.
They're sometimes heavy and don't fit to my bag, but they are the best friend on the way, wherever I go.
And nothing makes me more sleepy than Phillip reading laud for me in bed- his Polish is better and better-yuppie!

white

long time waiting, expecting and hoping and here it is SNOW!!!
I love it, and we're not talking about dirty, mudy and wet snow imitation, we're talking about real, white and fluffy snowflakes :))
It started yesterday early morning and was so intensive that I had to leave my work earlier (5 hours earlier)-another reason to love this white heavenly miracle.
Today we are going to view the house we really like, so who knows, maybe it will be the final wieving.
Then we are going for a really big walk, so boots, hats, scarfs and gloves already waiting by the door.
I will send some pictures later if my fingers won't be too cold ;)
In the mean time lets enjoy some winter snapshots taken last winter:

Do you enjoy white winter?

holes

I hope you enjoyed your weekend! I tried not to think too much about Monday morning...but hey here we are Monday is almost over, just the nice part of the day in front of me :)
I feel bit positive, because I pierced my ears few days ago and this weekend for the first time I haven't feel any pain in my ears anymore, so maybe it wasn't my last time ;) now I have two earrings in each ear but what I really like is this:

What do you think?

Boardwalk Empire

I've just finished watching Boardwalk Empire serie 3.
Loved it. 10 episodes and I couldn't wait to see next one and next one so I ended up watching it the whole weekend :)
I loved the first series, with the second one I was a bit disappointed (too much women-issues) but the third one delivered ;)
"Set in the Prohibition era of the 1920s Boardwalk Empire is the story of Enoch "Nucky" Thompson, the treasurer of Atlantic County, Atlantic City, New Jersey. Due to his relationships with mobsters as well as political contacts, the Federal Government start to take an interest in him. His lavish lifestyle seems at odds with his position, and as well as his connections, there is prolific bootlegging in the area."

The Hobbit

Yesterday I watched the Hobbit.
Many people were saying that it's too long, that it shows just first 7 chapters of the book, but I liked it. There is an action, an interesting story and the landscape is breathtaking. OK maybe 48 fps are too many, but I really enjoyed the movie. The Hobbit is a great idea for a saturday evening. If you like LOTR even just a little bit, you will like this one. Did I mention- I love Hobbit's house!

LAZY SUNDAY

I hope you are having a great weekend. I enjoyed my lazy late morning, after some shopping it's time to cook-mostly my better half will be busy in the kitchen ;) and tomorrow- back to reality, alarm at 6...
Have a look at this video, made me laugh:

The Words

I forgot about one very interesting movie in my previous post.
The Words is a story about a writer and his relationships-with his woman, with himself and with his morality. The decision he's made long time ago, comes back to him, and there are some consequences…

Bradley Cooper as always-great. I really like his acting.
Znd Zoe Saldan looks just stunning.

Highly recommended for this weekend: The Words.

What are your plans for the weekend?
If the weather will stay nice I possibly will go with Phillip for a walk on the beach.
It will be our typical weekend-cooking together, drinking some nice wine and maybe meet with our friends- I LOVE WEEKENDS.

TOMBOY

I love tomboy style.
It's comfortable and simple. Today for a meeting with some serious people I decided to go with it. It just makes me feel more confident. Simple set: three colours, well plus my yellow nail polish-I cannot be too serious ;)
Here have a look.

Movie nights

Hello,
I hope you had great time last night, and that side effects are not too cruel today. My night was exceptionaly calm and quiet and today I feel like a new born- I woke up about Midday :)

New Year Eve is already behind, but what about the other evenings? What is your favourite evening activity? What do you do when the kids are in bed?
I love to sink in my sofa with a good book and a glass of wine, or two ;)

But today I want to talk about the movies in 2012.
I'm not going to name all the movies I watched this year (I am a cine-maniac :)) I want to mention the ones which were the biggest dissapointments and the have to watch great pieces of cinematography.

So here we go:
I start with the ones I would like to erase from my memory.
I am a massive fan of Bourne serie (not mention Matt Damon fan-but *shush* Phillip might hear me), unfortunatelly Bourne Legacy is in my opinion the biggest dissapointment of the year. The idea in itself is not the worst, but comparing to the previous films-the actions are too long and very obvious. If I have to mention anything possitive about this movie- the visuals. The rest was below my expectations...
Bourne Legacy IMDB
On the not-worth-to-watch-list are also:

Looper- stupid
Cosmopolis- too talky
This is 40- not funny for a comedy
Shame- nudity is fine, but don't forget the story
Dark Shadows- couldn't even finish watching, and it doesn't happen too often
The Dictator- see: This is 40
The Dark Knight Rises- I wish he wouldn't
Red Lights- TLDW
Cloud Atlas- promising failed to deliver

Phew, so we are done with the dark side of the movies. Now is the time for the pleasant part.
These are the movies I reccomend:

An interesting storyline, great pictures, not bad Joseph Gordon-Levitt and the best place to shoot- NYC.

Argo IMDB
Ben Affleck- well done.

and some comedies to make you laugh:

Pitch Perfect- light story, which made me feel for a moment like a teenager- haha almost forgot how it was...

Brave- a little long but funny.

Men in black 3- not bad at all, you see what you get, and what you get is not bad ;)

21 Jump Street  IMDB

The Watch IMDB

obvious but funny. typical light comedy with classic comedy actors-cannot go wrong :)

Ted IMDB
naughty and funny

And my very favourite:

Moonrise Kingdom IMDB
Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, Bill Murray and of course the director Wes Anderson (if you haven't seen his: The Royal Tenenbaums or The Fantastic Mr. Fox- then don't waste you time and watch it tonight).

What about your favourite 2012 movies?
What would you recommend?

Have a lovely day!
